What this is
Pinyishu is an independently maintained directory of art resources. We collect official entry points for art learning, museums, galleries, and digital collections, with notes in both Chinese and English.
We do not host artwork images, offer downloads, or sell courses or tickets. Our job is to help you decide whether a resource is worth visiting, and where to start once you get there.
Selection criteria
- A stable, checkable official or institutional entry point.
- A practical use for Chinese- or English-speaking users: learning, visiting, research, or open images.
- Cost, language, and access conditions that can be stated without guessing.
- Not a piracy download site, a pure ad page, or a low-value aggregator.
How to read the labels
- Cost: free, freemium, paid, or registration required. The target site’s current policy applies.
- Site languages: the languages the target site itself offers, not the interface language of this directory.
- Access from mainland China: stable, may be unstable, or unknown. This records what we know; it is not a guarantee for every network.
- Open license: the site clearly offers public-domain or openly licensed material. Check each item’s terms before reuse.
Independence and rights
Pinyishu is not affiliated with the listed sites and does not represent an official endorsement. External content, rights, availability, and privacy policies are the responsibility of each site.
Our descriptions are editorially written; quoted official text is attributed where possible. We do not store, mirror, or offer artwork files for download.
Feedback and corrections
If a link is broken or a language or cost label is wrong, write to us. Please include the resource name, link, and a short description of the problem.
Feedback does not automatically change an entry. We review and update; we do not promise a fixed response time.
This page and the resource data are updated over time. The most recent check date appears in the footer.
